Two part-time positions are coming up at the West End: bartender and waiter/waitress. Previous experience very helpful.
Bartender will be 1-2 shifts per week, including at least one weekend evening shift. Normal bar duties including serving customers, good product knowledge, keeping everything clean, tidy and safe behind the bar, in the cellar, and on the floor; stocking up; checking and cleaning toilets; and helping/managing customers with COVID-19 related policies.
Waiter/Waitress would be mainly Friday and Saturday evenings (typically 5-9pm) although availability for other shifts by arrangement would be welcome. Main duties include welcoming guests and seating them, taking orders for drinks and food, ability to explain the menu and wine selection, keying in orders to EPOS system, communicating with chef as necessary, delivering food to customers and clearing away, keeping a clean, tidy and safe workstation, helping customers with COVID-19 related policies, and when time allows supporting
bartender with clearing and washing glasses.
