Following Nicola Sturgeon's announcements yesterday, we've reviewed all our options, and can say one thing: none of this is simple! So, there are a few things we need to update you on - some general changes, and then detailed opening hours. To summarise, from 6pm this Friday 9th through to Sunday 25th October there will be no alcoholic drinks consumed inside the premises. The pub will open Friday, Saturday, Sunday as usual, 12:30 to 10pm curfew, and on Monday from 4-8pm. The pub will be closed all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Given how essential the beer garden is to being open, this is all weather dependent. If the forecast or conditions at opening time are poor, then we may not open the pub. We will post on the website and Facebook/ Instagram if this happens. Table reservations (01333 311 587 or in person, no booking via website) are strongly recommended, with a default 2 hour slot or as agreed. Please do try to be on time. If we're busy, we may have to reassign your table if you're more than 15 mins late.

12:30-6pm: Alcohol may be consumed inside and outside.
6pm-10pm: Alcohol consumption in beer garden only. This includes the consumption of drinks bought before 6pm.
Lunch served 1-3pm, dinner 5-8.30pm. You are welcome to eat inside til 6pm or outside til later. Takeaway is also available.
Saturday 10th
12:30-10pm. Alcohol in beer garden only. Inside open to 6pm for soft drinks and dining. Lunch served 1-3pm, dinner 5-8.30pm. You are welcome to eat inside til 6pm or outside til later. Takeaway is also available.
Sunday 11th
12:30-10pm. Alcohol in beer garden only. Inside open to 6pm for soft drinks and dining. Lunch/dinner served 1-6pm. You are welcome to eat inside til 6pm or outside til later. Takeaway is also available.
